Fellow Pickleballers.

I would like encourage attendance this Thursday night at the Parks and Recreation meeting, as Patty indicated.

From the beginning of this Pickleball journey there has been a core group that been working tirelessly with the P & R committee to bring Pickleball to the town. It began 6 years ago getting lines at the Kent Street Courts, then to get lines in the new middle school gymnasium and tennis courts. We’ve worked to get Pickleball at Chianese, and the 6 moveable nets at Kent, the MS and Chianese, (wouldn’t it be great to have 4 at Kent and the MS), And we are still working now to get permanent nets at Chianese and resurfacing of Kent Street.

The biggest motivators to the town has been the support from Pickleball players! When they see the numbers come out in support of this sport, it matters. It moves the process!

Numbers matter! Please consider supporting us with your presence at this (and future) P & G meetings, and spread the word, I see so many new people at the courts, encourage them to join us in making Pickleball in Barrington awesome!
